Freeform was the "alternative" section of Ontap, a college community site. It was a unique experience simply because each producer was completely responsible for his/her section. No really... I'm not even remotely kidding. An average 12 hours involved schmoozing writers, writing several articles a day myself, creating interactive quizzes, graphic design, page layout, HTML, DHTML, StyleSheets, Javascript, beta-tester, monthly editorial calendars, participating and running live chat events, keeping an eye on the overall site for crashes and then notifying the proper tech people, project planning, developing marketing strategies and building a (incoming marketing term) "Gen-Y" community by being constantly available to our users.
